As for what
was sown on thin (rocky) soil, this is he who hears the Word and at once
welcomes and accepts it with
Yet it has
no real root in him, but is temporary (inconstant, lasts but a
little while); and when affliction or
trouble or persecution comes on

THIS PERSON BECAMES OFFENDED!
RUB THE WRONG WAY! FEELING HURT.

change of character, personality, feelings of

For the word
sake! The seed received was aboarded, and brought forth, and was a bearer of no friut.
But there was
only ONE that kept the word! Verse #23
As for what was sown on good soil, this
is he who hears the Word and grasps and comprehends it; he indeed bears fruit and yields in
one case a hundred times as much as was
sown,in another sixty times as much, and in another thirty.
So faith comes by hearing
[what is told], and what is heard comes by the preaching [of the message that
came from the lips] of Christ (the Messiah Himself).
1:21-27Amplified Bible (AMP)
So get rid of all uncleanness
and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest)
spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted
[in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls.
But be doers of the Word
[obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into
deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].

24 King James Version (KJV)
24 And Jesus went out, and
departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the
buildings of the temple.
And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things?
verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another,
that shall not be thrown down.
And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came
unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall
be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am
Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see
that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes,
in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver
you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all
nations for my name's sake.
And then shall many be offended, and
shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
And many false prophets shall rise, and
shall deceive many.
And because iniquity shall abound, the
love of many shall wax cold.
But he that
shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
